The qualities we look for from a trainer, go beyond the results produced on the track.
Along with her daughter (assistant trainer) Eliza Poulton, Camilla is based right next to the South Downs near Lewes. A beautiful location and one that seems to encourage horses to thrive. Camilla had tremendous success when assistant to her then-husband and is working to replicate and surpass those results.
Training for the Gold and Green Crowd since June 2020, Team Poulton have now trained 4 winners in our colours and had countless place finishes.
Currently we have 7 horses in their care, and are excited about each and every one.
A very new addition to our trainer ranks, Rebecca is based near Sedgefield in the North-East of England and is in the midst of a seriously upward curve in the number of horses and winners in her and the team's care.
In partnership with breeder Stuart Matheson, One of Our Own is training with team Menzies, and the 2yr old filly is impressing.
Rebecca is a trainer perfectly fitted to how we see the Gold and Green Crowd growing, and the opportunity to expand our involvement is an exciting one.
One of racings good guys, we had been hoping to work with Adrian for some time before our joint support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, saw us coming together with intriguing filly, Oriental Beauty.
Based in Gloucestershire, Adrian likes to focus on keeping things simple and not over complicating things, and he has an outstanding understanding of a racehorse. Despite having a relatively small string, Adrian was crowned champion trainer at Bath racecourse last season, he certainly knows how to train winners.
Based in Lambourn, Berkshire, husband & wife team, Dan & Claire have trained for The Gold & Green Crowd now since 2018, and sent out Arishka to win twice for members. A tight team who have very complimentary skills, they have repeatedly shown that with the right horse, they can achieve the maximum performance.
We are hoping it won't be long before we have a new horse in their care.
Alex ensures that each horse is treated as an individual. The size of the yard allows Alex to ensure that each horse has a bespoke training plan that she personally manages, to ensure that every horse maximises their potential.
Owners are very welcome to visit the yard and there is a fantastic sense of community between all involved. The atmosphere in the yard is one of infectious positivity and there couldn't be a better time to join the team. This is a yard on the up with extremely exciting times ahead.
